Well today is Valentines day and you know what that means...Candy Candy Candy. Oh, and love!!! Hope you ladies have a good one and give yourselves permission to splurge. I just ate a red velvet cupcake!! Yummy
I only have ten pounds t go until I am at a "Normal" BMI. February has been rather hard for me to keep on a good eating routine. I am walking at lunch though and have been talking to my sweetie about jogging together when the morning hours become lighter. How are you ladies doing? Sammy give me the WW update..still loving it? Christine? How are your fitness plans/goals going for you?
Molly! So Valentines was a bit of a bust for me. I have been having a rough week in staying on track with WW. I love it but my family and I are having some major financial issues and so I'm eating whatever is brought home which is mostly bad stuff. Didn't lose any weight last week and it's very upsetting. We shall see what tomorrow brings. Hope you had a lovely Valentines day though. I'm also super excited for you being 10 Ibs away from a healthy BMI. You are doing great!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sammy!! I know how things are...it's been super tight for me as well. It's a good thing that I had some old skinny clothes so I don't have to go out and buy anything because I totally couldn't right now. I hope you had a nice Valentines day too!! Keep your head up Sammy, things will get better. WW is pretty spendy from what I hear. Did you know that the Safeway "eating right" brand of frozen entrees have WW point counts on them? They are on the side of the box. And they have sweet deals on them every few weeks. I usually stock up :) Infact alot of the eating right brands have WW points check the cereals and things too.

ReplyDeleteHey Ladies! I'm catching up and see that Sammy and I are in the financial stress mode. Healthy eating doesn't have to be expensive, it just has to be planned and purchased. That's my big problem right now. Sammy are you still swimming and doing other exercising?
ReplyDeleteMolly, I'm so excited for you! How/where did you get your BMI measured? Did you use one of the many online places or did you have it done at a gym? What is Safeway? I'll have to see if that's a brand around here. A friend at work asked me if I was doing WW because she'd red Sammy's post. She wanted to do it with me. I think you can join for free right now so maybe I should check it out and then try to just stick w/the points on my own. The last time I did WW, I was down to the minimum allowed points in 3 weeks and then it was a pain to actually keep losing without major exercise. I can't wait for this damn snow to melt...oh and we're getting 3 more inches tomorrow! :(
I have been mostly walking and swimming occasionally. I have been walking with my mom around a park and have got up to two miles. We do that as many times as we can. I have been swimming once a week and I am working on going up to twice a week. I also hope to start those walking videos on youtube (provided links in your confessions post). When I can I want to buy one of her videos they look like awesome videos! Short, easy, and gets the job done. That's what I'm doing now and on Feb 22 doc says I can start stretching and looking into physical therapy.
ReplyDeleteI have lost 5 Ibs on WW so far. Even though I feel like I am cheating I have definitely notices that I have gained some control in my eating. I was doing pretty bad for a while there. I still live off of fast food but WW provides great options for all the main ff chains. It helps a lot. Let me know if you guys have questions. :D
