Hey there ladies. Sammy you have set yourself a very attainable goal for March. You CAN do it! I am sure you will. If you need motivation then think of your heart...it's a muscle and it needs to be worked to stay healthy. Keep at it Sammy, I know you are still recovering so focus on safely exercising. How are you doing with the walking plan?
After Feb(total bust) I need to really get on it. I shoveled and spread gravel over the weekend and boy what a workout!! I am so sore and that sucks because my job is physical. I still haven't gotten my ellpitical because living in a small city when they are out of stock, which they are, you have to wait 14 days before they get more in so I have lost a week of planned running on it. Pooh! I hope they are in today. It has been raining so no walking since last week. Really could've put that elliptical to good use! My sisters and I are going to see a concert on April 15th and I want to lose about 5 pounds before then so...My March thru April 15th goal is to lose 5 lbs. That would put me only 4 lbs away from my goal weight. Then it's on to toning it all up hopefully in time for summer, and the big reunion!!
OMG 9 pounds to go Molly! Way to go!! You better post a before and after pic! That is fantastic and thank you for the heart reminder! That is very helpful and definitely motivates me. As for walking I haven't been doing it as much as I would like. I plan on doing the 20 minute one today and see where I go from there. I have done the 10 minute walk and that one made me sweat. I was amazed haha. They are really great workouts and I would recommend them. :)
ReplyDeleteYes they are. I borrow them from my sister from time to time. Leslie rocks!! Well so far my elliptical is not in stock yet. I hate living in the boonies. Today I was all ready to walk on my lunch break and then this stupid wind/rain storm hit us. It's blowing about 65MPH. I might have ended up down by you if I had gone out in this. Luckily I have lots of massages booked so at least I get some exercise from working!! I am meeting a friend tonight for drinks but I think that I will go for an iced tea no sugar instead of a cocktail. Save myself some calories for something I crave..like icecream.
ReplyDeleteSo how is your back feeling? Are you still in alot of pain? Do you have physical therapy or massage therapy set up yet? Drink lots of water. It is very important to keep your muscles hydrated. Remember even filet mingion can become beef jerky is you take the water out. Our muscles are no different. Hope you feel 100% soon Sammy.
omg beef jerkey haha that was fantastic. I will remember that and I am hardly in pain. I have my moments and my body is still adjusting to my different posture. It was terrible before (contributed to my injury probably)so I'm trying to improve it. Sorry about your elliptical and the weather. That's crazy! I see my doc tomorrow so I will talk to him about pt. I really need it I think :)Thanks for asking
